Drexel Bobcats (Drexel, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kingsville Tigers (Kingsville, MO), 40-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Drexel upgrades its record to 4-13 on the season. The Bobcats host Liberal (Liberal, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Western Missouri bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Liberal won 51-37 in their recent league bout against Appleton City (Appleton City, MO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Hardin-Central Bulldogs (Hardin, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Kingsville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 33-19 non-league loss to Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO).
