New Mexico High School Basketball - Menaul edges Estancia

February 1, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87107

The Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Estancia Bears (Estancia, NM), 41-38 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Albuquerque Academy got by Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 62-30, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Monte Del Sol Charter for a 2A District 2 test on Tuesday, February 6. Estancia will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 33-9 league win over Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM). The Dragons record now stands at 1-18.
