Exeter Tigers (Exeter, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO), 44-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Exeter upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Tigers host Sheldon (Sheldon, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Sheldon lost 56-39 in their recent non-league bout against Lockwood (Lockwood, MO)

Next up, the Warriors play the Niangua Cardinals (Niangua, MO) in a Freelance bout, on Thursday, February 1. New Covenant Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record.
