Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hannan Wildcats (Ashton, WV), 35-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 3-17 on the season. The Eagles travel to Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Dawson-Bryant lost 64-22 in their recent league bout against Fairland (Proctorville, OH)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Paden City Wildcats (Paden City, WV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Hannan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
