The Franklin Regional Panthers basketball team (Murrysville, PA), was nudged 57-51 in Thursday's league battle with the host Indiana Little Indians (Indiana, PA)

The Little Indians now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Hills for a WPIAL 5A 1 battle on Monday, February 5. Indiana will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 53-37 league win over Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-9.

The Panthers (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators come into the WPIAL 5A 1 battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, Gateway was nudged by Indiana (Indiana, PA), 47-14, in a league battle.
