With the victory, Geibel Catholic improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Gators host Avella (Avella, PA) to confront the Eagles in a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge on Monday, February 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-16. Avella lost 46-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA)

Next up, the Maples confront the Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams (Confluence, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Mapletown will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 48-42 league win over Shade (Cairnbrook, PA).
