The Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Orange Tornadoes (Orange, NJ), 42-26 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Tech (Newark, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-12 record. In their last test, Tech went down by Weequahic (Newark, NJ), 58-4, in a league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to East Side for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Orange will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 60-31 non-league loss to Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-12.
