Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) and the host Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA), saw Warhill's basketball squad hold off Grafton by a tally of 50-43.

With the victory, Warhill improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Mathews (Mathews, VA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Mathews won 33-28 in their recent league challenge against Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA)

Next up, the Clippers confront the York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Grafton will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 38-19 league loss to Tabb (Yorktown, VA).
