The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes to 16 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murray County Central for a A Section 3 contest on Monday, February 5. Hills-Beaver Creek will meet a Rebels team coming off a 56-42 league loss to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 9-13.

The Coyotes (0-21) will now prepare for their contest against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Falcons enter the A Section 3 contest with a 1-21 record. In their last contest, Red Rock Central was routed by Edgerton (Edgerton, MN), 72-42, in a league contest.
