Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Heston Academy Patriots (St. Helen, MI), 54-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Mio-Au Sable upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Thunderbolts travel to Rogers City (Rogers City, MI) to play the Hurons in a North Star bout on Monday, February 5. The Hurons go into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Patriots play the Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Heston Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record.
