The Hillsboro Hiltoppers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting North Mac Panthers to 59 in the Hiltoppers league triumph on Thursday.

The Hiltoppers now sport a 13-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pana for a South Central contest on Monday, February 5. Hillsboro will meet a Panthers team coming off a 56-22 league loss to Vandalia (Vandalia, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-24.

The Panthers (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL). The Vipers enter the non-league contest with a 14-13 record. In their last contest, New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly nudged Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL), 46-31, in a league contest.
