Holt Rams (Holt, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), 70-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Holt improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI) to confront the Comets in a Capital Area - Blue challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Grand Ledge lost 52-39 in their recent league challenge against DeWitt (DeWitt, MI)

Next up, the Warriors confront the East Lansing Trojans (East Lansing, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Waverly will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
