In Thursday's league outing, the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA), by a count of 48-20.
The Rapids (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA). The Scotties go into the non-league outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, St. Margaret's smashed Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA), 62-48, in a league outing.
The Falcons now hold a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Henrico for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Huguenot will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 66-38 league loss to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-5.
