Indian Lake Central Indians (Indian Lake, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY), 34-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Indian Lake Central upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Chazy (Chazy, NY) to clash with the Eagles in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Chazy won 46-27 in their recent league bout against Keene Central (Keene Valley, NY)

Next up, the Bombers clash with the Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Lake Placid will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 44-36 non-league loss to Hartford Central (Hartford, NY).
