Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ) and the host West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ), saw Lakeland Regional's basketball squad knock off West Milford by a count of 47-37.

With the victory, Lakeland Regional upgrades its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Kennedy (Paterson, NJ) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Kennedy won 61-31 in their recent league challenge against Passaic (Passaic, NJ)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) in a Big North - Independence challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. West Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 42-33 non-league win over Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ).
