Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Little Snake River Rattlers (Baggs, WY) and the visiting Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO), saw Little Snake River's basketball squad knock off Meeker by a count of 52-42.

With the victory, Little Snake River upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Rattlers host Saratoga (Saratoga, WY) to play the Panthers in a 1A Southwest challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Saratoga lost 40-38 in their recent league challenge against Encampment (Encampment, WY)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO) in a 3A Western Slope challenge, on Friday, February 2. Meeker will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 52-32 league win over North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO).
