The Louisiana Bulldogs basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Wright City Wildcats to 27 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wellsville-Middletown for a Eastern Missouri contest on Friday, February 2. Louisiana will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-37 non-league win over Sturgeon (Sturgeon, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.

The Wildcats (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO). The Thunderbirds enter the Eastern Missouri contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, North Callaway triumphed over Elsberry (Elsberry, MO), 54-49, in a league contest.
