The Sacred Heart Irish basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Lourdes Central Catholic Knights to 41 in the Irish non-league victory on Thursday.

The Irish now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson-Brock for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Sacred Heart will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-36 non-league win over Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 17-1.

The Knights (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Griffin come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Diller-Odell was nudged by Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE), 47-36, in a non-league contest.
