The Madison Mustangs topped the host Scotts Hill Lions basketball team by a final score of 62-47 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders (Jackson, TN) in a 2A District 13 battle, on Friday, February 2. Madison will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 3-7 record after their 53-38 league loss to Riverside (Decaturville, TN).

The Lions (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside (Decaturville, TN). The Panthers come into the 2A District 13 battle with a 4-4 record.
