Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Maplewood nudges Union City

February 1, 2024: Guys Mills, PA 16327

In Thursday's league outing, the Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Union City Bears (Union City, PA), by a margin of 55-48.

The Tigers (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA). The Orioles go into the District 10 Region 2 outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Rocky Grove was tipped by Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA), 59-18, in a league outing.

The Bears now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Saegertown for a District 10 Region 2 outing on Monday, February 5. Union City will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 46-41 league loss to Cochranton (Cochranton, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-10.
