The Marion Local Flyers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Parkway Panthers to 27 in the Flyers league victory on Thursday.

The Flyers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anna for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. Marion Local will play a Rockets squad coming off a 54-47 league loss to Russia (Russia, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 10-9.

Next up, the Panthers play the Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Parkway will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 48-23 league win over National Trail (New Paris, OH).
