With the victory, Pungo Christian Academy improves its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Raiders host Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC) to confront the Eagles in a NCISAA Tarheel challenge on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Northeast Academy won 46-43 in their recent league challenge against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)

Next up, the Lakers confront the Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC) in a 1A Atlantic 5 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Mattamuskeet will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 50-42 league loss to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC).
