The Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Mountain Lake/Comfrey to 36 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Chargers now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yellow Medicine East for a A Section 3 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will battle a Sting team coming off a 68-26 league loss to Minneota (Minneota, MN). The Sting record now stands at 4-16.
The (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against St. James (St. James, MN). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, St. James was routed by Luverne (Luverne, MN), 65-55, in a league contest.
