The Springfield Cosmos basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Otter Valley Otters to 35 in the Cosmos league triumph on Thursday.

The Cosmos now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brattleboro for a Marble Valley - A contest on Monday, February 5. Springfield will meet a Bears team coming off a 45-33 league win over Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT). The Bears record now stands at 7-6.

The Otters (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against West Rutland (West Rutland, VT). The Golden Horde enter the Marble Valley - D contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, West Rutland triumphed over Proctor (Proctor, VT), 64-20, in a non-league contest.
