Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tamaqua holds off Panther Valley

February 1, 2024: Tamaqua, PA 18252

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) and the visiting Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA), saw Tamaqua's basketball squad hold off Panther Valley by a tally of 46-39.

With the victory, Tamaqua improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Blue Raiders travel to Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA) to confront the Eagles in a Schuylkill County 1 challenge on Monday, February 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Blue Mountain won 36-20 in their recent league challenge against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 challenge, on Monday, February 5. Panther Valley will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 40-23 league win over Pottsville (Pottsville, PA).
