In Thursday's league outing, the Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Scio Loggers (Scio, OR), by a count of 43-30.

The Spartans (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Amity (Amity, OR). The Warriors go into the 3A PacWest outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Amity defeated Taft (Lincoln City, OR), 53-28, in a league outing.

The Loggers now hold a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Dayton for a 3A PacWest outing on Saturday, February 3. Scio will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 57-44 league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 4-15.
