Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN) and the host Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN), saw St. Francis's basketball squad knock off Zimmerman by a tally of 47-39.

With the victory, St. Francis improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Fighting Saints travel to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN) to play the Bluejackets in a AAAA Section 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Cambridge-Isanti won 54-49 in their recent league challenge against Monticello (Monticello, MN)

Next up, the Thunder play the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a AAA Section 5 challenge, on Monday, February 5. Zimmerman will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 61-54 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, MN).
