Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), 67-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Stephenson upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Clarkston (Clarkston, GA) to clash with the Angoras in a AAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, February 2. The Angoras go into the bout with a record of 1-16. Clarkston lost 86-12 in their recent league bout against Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, February 2. Stone Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 51-26 league loss to Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA).
