The Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI), 43-36 in Thursday's league test.

The Bulldogs (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Cabrini was tipped by Lutheran North (Macomb, MI), 54-34, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Britton Deerfield for a Tri-County test on Monday, February 5. Whiteford will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 59-45 league loss to Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 2-12.
