Windsor Locks Raiders (Windsor Locks, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Windham RVT Mighty Tigers (Willimantic, CT), 51-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Windsor Locks upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Raiders host Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT) to play the Tigers in a North Central Connecticut bout on Monday, February 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy won 48-24 in their recent league bout against Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT)

Next up, the Mighty Tigers play the Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT) in a Connecticut Technical bout, on Friday, February 2. Windham RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 49-23 league loss to O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT).
