Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Faith Christian Eagles (Ramseur, NC), 24-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union Grove Christian upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Southwest Guilford won 38-14 in their recent non-league bout against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Faith Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 32-14 league loss to Alamance Christian (Graham, NC).
