Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) fans left the game thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), 8-0 in a league match.

The Bobcats (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Mustangs enter the PIHL Class A Blue match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Plum ran past Freeport (Freeport, PA), 4-3, in a league match.

Next up, the Hilltoppers encounter the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) in a PIHL Class A Blue match, on Tuesday, February 13. Westmont Hilltop will attempt to advance on its 0-20 season record.
