The Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Ahoskie Christian (Ahoskie, NC), 47-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Mariners (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC). The Conquerors go into the non-league test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Jacksonville Christian Academy notched a victory over Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC), 15-12, in a league test.

The now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Assembly Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Ahoskie Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 31-19 league loss to New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-12.
