North Carolina High School Basketball - Ridgecroft nips Albemarle School

Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), 50-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ridgecroft upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Colts play the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Albemarle School will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 68-13 non-league win over Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC).
