In Thursday's non-league outing, the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA), by a margin of 39-24.
The Lancers (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Rustburg was beaten by Heritage (Lynchburg, VA), 58-43, in a non-league outing.
