The Orange County Fighting Hornets basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Goochland Bulldogs to 60 in the Fighting Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Hornets now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisa County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Orange County will battle a Lions team coming off a 42-22 non-league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Lions record now stands at 10-8.

The Bulldogs (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Fluvanna County was nudged by Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 60-35, in a non-league contest.
