The Liberty Christian Academy Heat basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Jacksonville Christian Academy Conquerors to 14 in the Heat non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Heat now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Liberty Christian Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 42-23 league win over Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 7-3.

The Conquerors (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC). The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian was routed by Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC), 34-30, in a league contest.
