James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 63-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, James Madison upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Warhawks host Oakton (Vienna, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Oakton won 61-36 in their recent non-league bout against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Westfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Seahawks come into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 84-47 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA).
