In Thursday's non-league outing, the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) basketball squad edged the host Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), by a margin of 48-41.
The Cougars (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Warren County was tipped by Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 49-32, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Sherando will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 64-35 non-league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
