In Thursday's non-league outing, the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Salem Spartans (Salem, VA), by a margin of 52-47.
The Patriots (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Franklin County was tipped by Fleming (Roanoke, VA), 62-39, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Glenvar for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Salem will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 59-26 non-league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-9.
