The Habersham Central Raiders basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Alcovy Tigers to 39 in the Raiders league triumph on Saturday.

The Raiders now have a 20-3 record. They play next when they host Clarke Central for a AAAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, February 4. Habersham Central will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 67-63 league loss to Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 0-22.

With the loss, Alcovy falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Loganville (Loganville, GA) to confront the Red Devils in a AAAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 11-9. Loganville lost 50-43 in their recent league game against Apalachee (Winder, GA)
