Tintic Miners (Eureka, UT) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT), 77-62 in a league match.

With the victory, Tintic advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Miners host Tabiona (Tabiona, UT) to face the Tigers in a 1A Region 22 match on Friday, February 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 16-3. Tabiona won 65-56 in their recent league match against Manila (Manila, UT)

The Longhorns now own a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wendover for a 1A Region 22 match on Friday, February 7. Altamont will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 71-47 league loss to Rich (Randolph, UT). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-13.
