The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Freeman Scotties (Rockford, WA) and the visiting Asotin Panthers (Asotin, WA), observed Freeman's basketball team overwhelm Asotin by a score of 69-42.

The Scotties (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Broncos come into the 2B Bi-County challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna was routed by Colfax (Colfax, WA), 73-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Asotin will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 71-46 non-league loss to Genesis Prep Academy (Post Falls, ID).
