Colorado High School Basketball - Montezuma-Cortez holds off Bayfield

The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Bayfield Wolverines to 54 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Centauri for a 4A/3A Intermountain game on Friday, February 7. Montezuma-Cortez will confront a Falcons team coming off a 54-39 league win over Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Falcons record now stands at 16-0.
With the loss, Bayfield falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO) to confront the Mean Moose in a 4A/3A Intermountain game on Friday, February 7. The Mean Moose go into the game with a record of 2-14.
