The Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Leland Comets (Leland, MI), 69-41 in Saturday's league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a Northwest bout on Tuesday, February 4. Benzie Central will play a Panthers team coming off a 53-43 league loss to Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Leland falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Comets host Buckley (Buckley, MI) to confront the Bears in a Northwest game on Tuesday, February 4. The Bears go into the game with a record of 6-8. Buckley lost 85-62 in their recent league game against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI)
