Illinois High School Basketball - Brownstown/St. Elmo knocks off Neoga

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles basketball team scored a good 52-39 win over the Neoga Indians.

The Eagles (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Dieterich (Dieterich, IL). The Movin Maroons come into the National Trail contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Dieterich was topped by St. Anthony (Effingham, IL), 43-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL) in a National Trail contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Neoga will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The come into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 69-60 non-league loss to Altamont (Altamont, IL).
