In Saturday's league contest, the host Lund Mustangs basketball team scored a big 54-8 triumph over the Carlin Railroaders.
The Mustangs (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, NV). The Vandals go into the 1A East contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Eureka smashed Owyhee (Owyhee, NV), 44-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Railroaders battle the Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV) in a 1A East contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Carlin will attempt to better on its 3-19 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 5-14 record after their 44-28 league loss to Eureka (Eureka, NV).
