California High School Basketball - Carlmont can't get by Sacred Heart Prep

Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), 54-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sacred Heart Prep advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Gators travel to Menlo School (Atherton, CA) to meet the Knights in a West Bay match on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights enter the match with a record of 13-7. Menlo School lost 82-59 in their recent league match against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA)

The Scots now own a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Half Moon Bay for a Peninsula - Bay match on Friday, February 7.
