The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Vinita Hornets (Vinita, OK) and the host Colcord Hornets (Colcord, OK), observed Vinita's basketball team knock off Colcord by a score of 36-20.
The Hornets (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Skiatook (Skiatook, OK). The Bulldogs come into the Verdigris Valley challenge with a 8-9 record.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Colcord will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record.
