Maryland High School Basketball - DeMatha overwhelms St. Mary's Ryken

The DeMatha Stags basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 44 in the Stags league triumph on Saturday.
The Stags now have a 18-5 record. They play next when they host Bishop O'Connell for a VISAA Division I game on Tuesday, February 4. DeMatha will confront a Knights team coming off a 74-61 league win over Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Knights record now stands at 18-5.
With the loss, St. Mary's Ryken falls to 5-19 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA) to confront the Panthers in a VISAA Division I game on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 17-5. Paul VI won 74-67 in their recent non-league game against Christ School (Arden, NC)
